Scott Schneider Joins GBS Benefits, Inc. as President

GBS Benefits, Inc. is pleased to announce that Scott Schneider has joined the agency as president. Schneider brings an added dynamic to the management team with his diverse background in finance, underwriting, and sales.

“With our growth projections and expansion into new markets, Schneider will be invaluable in managing our footprint, brand, and services,” said Rick Fielding, who has been the president of GBS since the company’s inception in 1989. Fielding will continue to lead GBS Benefits with his vision as chief executive officer.

Most recently, Schneider served as the vice president of sales and marketing for SelectHealth, with additional responsibilities for community benefit, health promotion, and wellness. He has more than 20 years of sales, marketing, underwriting, and actuarial experience, including past roles at SelectHealth as the director of large employer sales and the director of large employer underwriting. Schneider earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Utah and is a licensed health and life producer in both Utah and Idaho.
