New Name Announced for Allegiance Direct Bank

Allegiance Direct Bank announced it will now operate as ADB Bank. The name change has been approved by banking regulators and became official on March 27, 2008. In addition to several savings products for the local community, ADB Bank is an industrial loan bank providing commercial insurance clients the opportunity to finance their insurance premiums.

“The name change also represents new developments in our business, with additional product lines coming in the near future,” said Adriaan van Zyl, president of the bank. “We have listened to feedback and think that a more concise and clearly understood name will make our marketing and advertising more effective. We plan to gradually change our signs, letterhead, and marketing publications.”

ADB Bank will continue to offer personalized service and great interest rates to deposit clients, helping local businesses and individuals who want to take advantage of money market and CD savings accounts.

“You may have noticed that we are in the process of remodeling the banking office in the old library building,” explained Craig Isom, member of the Board of Directors. “We are making this investment to better serve our banking clients. We feel it is also time to make our name more marketable as we respond to our clients’ financial needs.”

ADB Bank (formerly Allegiance Direct Bank), Member FDIC, is located at 136 W. Center Street, Cedar City, Utah. More infomation is available at www.bankadb.com.
