Nasburg Huggins Insurance is pleased to announce that Spencer Gordon has joined their Coos Bay office as an account executive producer. His appointment follows three years as executive director of the local non-profit agency Bay Area Enterprises.
Gordon looks forward to opportunities to connect with the community, to work with commercial accounts and maintain customer service at a high level. “His background, successfully managing a 50-employee non-profit business, provides a unique view of the needs and challenges experienced by both non-profit and for-profit businesses alike,” said Ed Ellingsen, senior vice president of Nasburg Huggins Insurance. “This will enable him to better serve all types of businesses.”

Gordon earned a degree in business from Brigham Young University-Idaho, in Rexburg, Idaho, and is a graduate of the Community College of the Air Force. He is an active member of the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, currently serving as a vice president. He is a member of the Kiwanis, and joined the board of Oregon Employer’s Council. As a scout master, Gordon works with youth, and last year participated in the Ford Institute Leadership Program, providing support of the successful Powers Playground Project. Gordon and his wife, Keturah, have four children.
