Matt Muirhead Selected as District Manager of UABT

Matt Muirhead, of Leavitt Central Coast Insurance Services, was recently selected as the district manager for United Agriculture Benefit Trust (UABT). Muirhead has partnered with UABT for over 15 years, and as district manager he will be better suited to help clients navigate options, manage rising costs, meet compliance requirements, and implement a highly successful benefits program.

“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Matt for the last 12 years and have seen first-hand the personal and hands on approach he uses when working with his clients,” said Jack Starke, managing principal. “He has a passion for health and safety programs and is able to provide his clients with valuable, tangible tools to reduce their costs and exposures.”

Muirhead has 28 years of insurance and risk management experience. He has successfully designed and implemented programs and strategies that have increased employers’ profits and improved employee productivity. He has developed and manages a number of statewide insurance programs centered in agribusiness.

UABT has been in business since 1983 and is the recognized leader in providing health care for agribusiness. To date, UABT has paid over $380,000,000 in health, dental, vision, and life claims to participants. Their emphasis on customer service, the ability to see any doctor anytime, and quality health care have made their plans the premier medical coverage available in agribusiness today.
