Leavitt Insurance Agency of San Diego recently participated in the Encinitas Turkey Trot to help the North County Community Services Food Bank feed local homeless families on Thanksgiving Day.
“Participants helped to feed three to four people on Thanksgiving Day with just one ticket purchased,” said Heidi Lebherz, an employee benefits account executive with Leavitt Insurance Agency of San Diego. “It felt so much better eating dinner that day knowing we helped to feed families in need.”
