The Leavitt Group’s Santa Ana office hosted an “Angel Tree” to help gather gifts for children in need. Agency staff purchased and wrapped the requested gifts to be delivered to Crittenton Services for Children and Families. Crittenton is a non-profit organization that provides a full array of advocacy programs and services for children and families throughout Southern California.
“It was very humbling to see what the kids were asking for,” said Terri Ray, Director of Operations of the Santa Ana office. “They were only asking for basic needs like clothing and shoes. It really is heartwarming to give to these kids who appreciate it so much.”
For the fourth year the office also participated in the Marine Corps Family Foundation’s Operation Santa. Staff packed and sent stockings filled with goodies to Marines currently deployed to Afghanistan.
“It is a good reminder that men and women are still over there,” said Ray. “It feels good to give back for all that they do for us.”
