Leavitt Group of Atlanta strives to support a local charity each holiday season. This year, the agency chose to hold a clothing drive to support the 111Project, an organization committed to increasing the number of quality foster families in Georgia. The agency collected and donated new and gently used clothing to the 111Project to help children who arrive at their new foster home with little to no belongings.
“We have a foster parent in our office, so this charity is especially meaningful to our agency,” said Carla G. Buff, vice president of operations for Leavitt Group of Atlanta. “Our goal was to provide enough to outfit a child just entering the system with three sets of clothing in an emergency bag.”
The 111Project launched in April of 2011 and has since helped to commit hundreds to becoming foster families.
