Jeff Kluge, Vice President and Consultant with Leavitt Group’s Salt Lake City office, GBS Benefits Inc., was recently recognized by Business Insurance magazine, a national insurance publication, as a “40 under 40 Regional Broker Leader.” Kluge is one of only ten to receive the honor in the Western Region. This award recognizes leadership, service, and experience in insurance brokers.
“I appreciate Jeff’s creativeness in solving difficult issues and his appropriate aggressiveness in negotiating terms with carriers,” said Brent Shimada, SVP of HR for Energy Solutions, in a recommendation for the award.

I believe you would be hard pressed to find someone who works harder for their clients than Jeff does.”
“Over the past five years, Jeff has consistently proven to be a reliable partner who has helped us find new and innovative ways to improve and expand our benefit offering while creating ways to reduce our costs,” said Mickie Angell, Senior Director of Human Resources services for Dyno Nobel, Inc., in a recommendation for the award.
Kluge has over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry. He is currently a co-owner of GBS Benefits Inc. and offers unmatched experience in employee benefits, problem solving with insurance, financial analysis, and health care reform. Jeff obtained his undergraduate degree in management and finance, then went on to obtain his MBA and is currently working on a Masters in Finance. Additionally, he is on the Board of Directors for the American Lung Association, and is a United Way Young Leader.
