The Leavitt Group is pleased to announce that Jim Lineweaver has joined the agency as a client advisor with 25 years of insurance experience. Lineweaver focuses on large manufacturing risks, forest products, transportation, wholesale distribution, architects, and engineering.
“We are thrilled to have Jim join our Tacoma team,” said Ted Schlatter, managing co-owner. “He has extensive experience providing insurance and risk management services for a variety of businesses throughout the northwest.”
Prior to joining the agency, Lineweaver was a partner with a large regional brokerage firm. He also managed the northwest for a specialty insurance company where he worked with the forest products industry to insure their property risks. He earned a degree in business administration and technical journalism from OregonStateUniversity and holds the Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC) designation.
