Leavitt United Insurance Services is thrilled to announce the appointment of Sarah Garcia to the role of agency principal and chief operations officer, effective August 1, 2022. Sarah has been with the agency since 2019 in the role of VP of operations. Over the past three years, and during unprecedented times, Sarah has demonstrated how much she can bring to the agency in this managing co-owner role. She will be running the agency alongside Brian Mulholland, long-time agency co-owner.
When asked about joining Leavitt and this appointment, Sarah shared, “I was at a fork in the road with my career and took some time to decide where I wanted to spend the next 20 years. Everything pointed me to Leavitt. I loved the backing of corporate but the locally owned agency model. It feels like a family, like the local agency down the road. I love everything about it and the people I work with.”
Although she’s only been at Leavitt United for three years, she brings over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. Sarah is part of a growing internal trend as more women enter leadership roles within Leavitt Group, including our affiliate agencies, like Leavitt United.
Over the past 20+ years Sarah has served in many roles, including receptionist, account manager, account executive, and operations manager. Sarah has had the opportunity to experience many — if not all — perspectives of working in an agency. This alone brings incredible value to her joining the agency’s leadership team and taking them into the next decade of success and growth. In addition, she truly cares about her community, participating in many local charity events and local youth sports organizations.
