Rachel Talbot, Head of Operations for Dixie Leavitt Agency’s (DLA) six locations, has been honored with the Safeco Insurance Award of Excellence, an honor recognizing superior underwriting skill. This recognition is achieved only by a select group of agents across the country who sell Safeco Insurance. This is the fifth consecutive year Talbot has earned this recognition.
“Achieving this award was definitely a team effort. Our entire team here at DLA has worked together to maintain a strong and lifelong Safeco relationship. I’m honored to sit on their council and work closely with them, but the real award winners are those on the front lines providing the feedback and experiences all together. So, this award goes to our whole team here at DLA. I couldn’t do this without them,” shared Talbot.
The Safeco Award of Excellence recognizes outstanding agents who have developed a solid underwriting relationship with Safeco and whose agencies have qualified for the Safeco Insurance Premier Partner Award, the company’s top recognition program. Fewer than 10 percent of agencies who sell Safeco have agents who receive this award.

Talbot joined Leavitt Group in 2005 and has spent many years servicing and selling both personal and commercial insurance. She now enjoys overseeing the general operations of the agency and plays a key role in training and mentoring the DLA team. Rachel has been recognized as one of the top 10 CSR’s, sits on several carrier and agency councils, and has been involved in creating and implementing materials and resources that have been used and published throughout Leavitt Group.
