Eilert Insurance, based in Morgan Hill, California, has merged with Leavitt Recreation & Hospitality (LRHI), based in Sturgis, South Dakota. LRHI works with clients across the U.S. They are an affiliate of Leavitt Group, a network of insurance brokers whose collective strength allows members to provide national resources to their clients.
Eilert Insurance is a former Nationwide agency offering personal and commercial insurance. The owner, Patrick, and his team member, Penny, will be joining the LRHI team.
Patrick Eilert shared, “After 28 years in business, we are excited about the affiliation with Leavitt Recreation. Our similar specialized interests in the outdoor industry and Leavitt’s deep roots were the initial attraction. Following that up with their nationwide presence and additional markets makes this a win-win for everyone. Chris and I met a couple of decades ago while on a hunting trip, so it feels good to know the person who is behind the wheel when you are going to do business together.”
Leavitt Recreation & Hospitality has years of experience in the insurance industry. They focus on insurance protection for campgrounds, resorts, hotels and motels, bed and breakfasts, bars, restaurants, and many other recreation and hospitality businesses.

Eilert will keep their current location in Morgan Hill, CA, but will be moving to a new location shortly.
