Earlier this year, a Leavitt Group partner and leader of the Buckeye and Goodyear based Powers-Leavitt Insurance Agency, Charlene Powers-Broadbent, passed away due to COVID-19 complications. This was a truly deep and far-reaching loss for Leavitt Group as well as many residents in the West Valley.
To carry on the success of Powers-Leavitt, Leavitt Group has named a new managing partner to round out the agency leadership team, Tim Woodruff, who will work alongside Charlene’s husband Jay Broadbent.
Jay, who is currently part of the leadership team, has worked at the agency since 2002 serving many of its clients during this time. Both are committed to continuing Charlene’s legacy of excellent customer service, support, and industry knowledge.
“I look forward to working with Tim, to continue the legacy of Charlene and Powers-Leavitt Insurance. Tim’s leadership experience and insurance knowledge will be a great asset for the agency and will make him a great mentor for newer members of our producer team.” said Jay about Tim joining the agency.
Tim is a long-time member of Leavitt Group’s agency family, most recently serving as a principal and executive director of Leavitt Insurance Agency in Las Vegas. Tim said “I’m excited about coming to Arizona where we already have family roots. I’m eager and excited about coming to the Powers-Leavitt team. Charlene was such a dynamic person and cared about her clients. I hope to build on what she’s already established.”
