Leavitt Group is pleased to announce that Dawn Gourgues has joined the agency as vice president of benefits in their Houston office. Prior to joining the agency she was a health and welfare consultant working with middle market energy related accounts. Her experience also includes financial projects and long-term strategic planning.

Leavitt Group added the Houston, Texas location to their existing offices in Shreveport and Alexandria, Louisiana earlier this year, and also recently started a benefits practice.
Gourgues earned both a masters and bachelors degree from Louisiana State University. She holds the Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC), Chartered Benefit Consultant (CBC), Advanced Insurance Designation (ACBC) designations, and the Heart Rhythm Society (HRS) certification.
