During this holiday season, Leavitt Group of Boise has eagerly given back to the community by volunteering for several charitable organizations in need of help.
“We are happy to support charities important to our staff, clients, and community,” said Alyce Hillman, co-owner Leavitt Group of Boise. “Whether it’s supporting families who have left abusive situations, stocking shelves at our local food bank, or donating toys to U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots, we love paying it forward to the people in our neighborhood. Insurance is our business but at a deeper level taking care of people is what drives us.”
Leavitt Group of Boise volunteered at the Eagle Food Bank, a community food bank, stocking shelves before Thanksgiving. They raked leaves for Rake Up Boise, a Neighborhood Housing Services (NHS) organization that rakes and winterizes yards for nearly 700 senior and disabled residents. They also purchased Christmas gifts for a family they sponsored through the Nampa Family Justice Center, a partnership of agencies dedicated to ending family violence and sexual assault.
