CIA-Leavitt Insurance Agency is pleased to announce that Brenda Gilleland-Edgar has been named an owner/partner of the firm, as well as vice president of the corporation and vice president of operations.
“Brenda’s 17-year career of leadership, dedication, and commitment to both staff and clients in her role as operations manager the past five years has been recognized,” said Dan Bowers, managing owner/partner, on behalf of the Leavitt Group executive team.
A native of Manassa, Gilleland-Edgar has been a diligent leader in her role, Bowers said, and is well known in the local business community as a person of high integrity “that brings a commitment of service to those who count on the agency for dedicated performance in mitigating risk.”
“Brenda continually shows the staff what it means to be a consummate insurance professional,” Bowers said. “It gives me tremendous pride and satisfaction to reward her dedication to the agency and those we serve in the community.”
Gilleland-Edgar has advanced her career by earning designations as a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) and Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist (AFIS).
Her leadership at the agency has allowed her and many of the CIA-Leavitt staff to be involved in the community, volunteering and/or donating to groups like La Puente, Boys and Girls Club, Tu Casa, Rotary, ASU Grizzly Club, Alamosa County Chamber of Commerce and others.
