Booker Moore, CEO of independent insurance agency L.R. Webber Associates, Inc. and an affiliate of the 14th largest national brokerage firm, Leavitt Group, has announced his official retirement after 32 years of service.
“It’s been an honor to work with so many talented professionals and wonderful individuals at L.R. Webber through the years,” says Moore. “I was part of building something very special for our clients and their employees that made a positive difference every single day in the lives of those who we serve.”
With his retirement, the leadership team of three already put into place — Jason Dennis, Beckie Beck, and Nick Sefchok — will carry on his legacy. They’re indebted to Booker’s vision and commitment for propelling the firm to its present position in the industry.
Eric Leavitt, CEO of Leavitt Group, shared the following: “Booker is not only a uniquely capable insurance professional, but he’s also a terrific teammate and tireless servant leader. Our group has been deeply blessed and made better by his many contributions, and his missing presence here will be tangibly felt by those who have been privileged to engage with him.”
Over the last three decades, Booker contributed so much to L.R. Webber, its clients, and their constituents through his expertise, earning many awards and recognitions along the way. This includes the Million Dollar Round Table, several Top of the Table and Court of the Table designations, and United Benefit Advisors’ Member of the Year. He’s also a member of the Diamond Elite Circle for Producers within Leavitt Group.
Beckie Beck, EVP and head of client relations for L.R. Webber, shared “I’ve had the privilege of working alongside Booker for 30 years. It’s been amazing to watch his leadership and forward thinking as L.R. Webber evolved into an agency that is centered on one mission—to make a positive difference in the lives of everyone we touch. It’s a legacy for which we owe Booker much of the credit. He will be sorely missed, but we wish him nothing more than many years of health and happiness as he transitions into the next phase of his life.”
