Reinsurance Fee: Nov. 17th Deadline Extended to Dec. 5th

Late in the afternoon on Friday, November 14th, CMS extended to December 5th the deadline for submission of reinsurance fee information on Pay.gov.  The original deadline was November 17th.  Self-insured plans and other “contributing entities” are still required to submit enrollment counts on Pay.gov and schedule their January and November 2015 payments, so sponsors of self-insured plans may want to read the prior post on this site, which details the steps for reporting on Pay.gov.  December 5th will be here before we know it!

Annual Enrollment and Contributions Submission Form Filing Extension – December 5, 2014

We have received requests for an extension of the deadline for contributing entities to submit their 2014 enrollment counts for the transitional reinsurance program contributions under 45 CFR 153.405(b).  The deadline has now been extended until 11:59 p.m. on December 5, 2014.  The January 15, 2015 and November 15, 2015 payment deadlines remain the same.
