This position’s primary purpose is to help our member agencies maximize the value of their United Valley membership, supporting member retention by helping our members understand the many benefits and services that their membership brings.
The primary responsibilities will include:
- Member visits
- Attending member events & meetings
- Engaging with company representatives
- Acting as liaison between the member and United Valley.
The Member Relationship Manager will work collaboratively on a daily basis with all departments within United Valley and will assist our agencies in developing strategies to help them grow.
Additional responsibilities include:
- New member on-boarding
- Familiarizing new members with United Valley’s various services, companies and preferred vendors.
This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position based in our Fresno office.
The position requires a comprehensive understanding of both personal and commercial insurance coverage as well as agency operations.
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a leadership role at an independent insurance agency or in a marketing/sales capacity at an insurance company. The successful candidate will be an outgoing insurance professional, a self-starter, disciplined and organized, with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), able to handle multiple priorities and able to work collaboratively toward win-win solutions.
This position requires occasional travel and will report to the Director of Member & Company Relations.
