Leavitt Insurance East Valley Changes Name

Leavitt Insurance East Valley recently changed their name to Brown-Leavitt Insurance Agency. The location and phone numbers remain the same.

Mark Brown is the new local managing co-owner of the agency. Brown has been in the insurance industry for over 17 years. He has owned and operated an independent agency for over ten years. RJ Omstead, previous co-owner, will continue to work within the agency.

“I enjoy working with business owners to solve their insurance needs,” said Brown. “I have a strong belief that if you are honest in your dealings that you will be successful; I have practiced that in my 17 years with the insurance industry.”

Brown-Leavitt Insurance Agency provides all types of insurance products to area residents and businesses, including commercial packages, personal coverage, and life and health insurance.

McDonald-Leavitt and Hover Insurance Services Create HML Insurance Services

McDonald-Leavitt Insurance Agency and Hover Insurance Services, Inc. have jointly created a new entity, HML Insurance Services. This new entity will be a member of the Leavitt Group.

HML Insurance Services will combine the expertise from the two agencies in employee benefits to create a full service group benefits firm in addition to servicing clients with P&C and other business products. The Leavitt Group’s Benefits Division will provide ongoing support to the new agency, with additional products such as COBRA administration, and human resource department training and consulting. The new operation will be located at the McDonald-Leavitt office at 2800 Cleveland Avenue , Suite D, in Santa Rosa .

“We are excited to create HML Insurance with Hover Insurance,” said David McDonald, managing co-owner of McDonald-Leavitt. “Our clients, along with the clients of Hover Insurance, will now have access to a greater level of expertise and additional products and services.”

Leavitt Group Announces President of Benefits Operations

The Leavitt Group welcomes John Moreno as President of Leavitt Benefits Services. Moreno will forward the benefits operations of the Leavitt Group and affiliated agencies. He will also develop forward-looking strategies for the Leavitt Group as it relates to benefits.

Moreno has over 30 years of experience in the employee benefits industry, specializing in large accounts, associations, and public entities. Before joining the Leavitt Group, Moreno served as the Employee Benefits Practice Leader of HUB International and was also the Southern California Regional Benefits Manager. Prior to HUB, he was the National Benefits Practice Leader at USI. Moreno has owned his own consulting agency as well as worked for national firms Sedgwick and Marsh & McLennan/Mercer. He has a degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Utah.
